What's the difference between regular home cleaning and deep cleaning?

A lot of our new home cleaning customers in Los Angeles area always ask us about the exact differences between a regular cleaning and a deep cleaning service before they book a job with us. We figured it’s time to answer this question once and for all!

Let’s start with a deep cleaning service. A deep clean is an intensive cleaning of a home, office or commercial space. It typically involves scrubbing floors, polishing furniture, and washing walls. The one big difference with a deep cleaning service is the amount of extra time spent on cleaning a house. This includes more vertical surfaces such as baseboards, window blinds, exterior of cabinets and drawers, light fixtures, inside of your stove and refrigerator. A deep clean is necessary for homes that have not been cleaned in a long time or for homes that have pets. If your home has not been cleaned in over 60 days, we recommend staring with a deep cleaning service.

Regular home cleaning is the standard cleaning of a home. It typically involves vacuuming carpets and dusting furniture. Regular home cleaning is necessary for homes that are well maintained and have regular housekeeping service performed at a frequency of at least once a month.
